With over 13 years of experience in the design field, I bring a wealth of expertise in product design, service design, CX, and a specialization in product management. My unique blend of linguistic diversity and creative flair, enriched by my vibrant Latino temperament and global perspective, sets me apart in the industry.
Contrary to the typical perception of Industrial Designers as mere product creators, I have always sought to explore diverse fields and industries. Early in my career, I worked for the National Army of Colombia in the naval sector, where I focused on ergonomic and social aspects to enhance the comfort and well-being of the crew. Later, as the design director of an NGO, I developed marketing strategies, workshops, and corporate images, empowering vulnerable populations to appreciate the value of Colombian coffee and build self-sustaining businesses.
Driven by a desire to embrace new cultures and ideas, I moved to Cape Town and spent nearly three years as a brand manager in a travel agency, which I like to call the business of creating memories. There, I successfully opened the Latin American market, honing my skills in sales and communication while using design to enhance the travel experience through graphic and digital materials.
For the past five years, I have been working as a User Experience Manager at a French digital company dedicated to selling and promoting outdoor activities. This role has allowed me to deepen my expertise in creating seamless and engaging user experiences.
In addition to my professional journey, I have earned various certifications and actively participated in numerous workshops.
